Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Functional tester that will be responsible for testing a data resiliency application for the enterprise. The tester will be responsible for in-sprint testing, regression testing and defect management. This role will be 100% hands and needs someone strong enough in SQL in order to write and read scripts, alter joins, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
- Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set – (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)
- Expert in writing SQL queries
- Agile Methodology/SDLC
- Good Communication
- Self-starter and able to work independently

- Experience with Global model

Must Haves:
- 4-6 years of Functional testing in agile lifecycle (does not need someone with lead experience)
- Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set – (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)
- UI testing
- Jira experience
- HP ALM or Qtest experience
- Can write basic SQL queries
- Agile Methodology/SDLC – comfortable working with an offshore team
- Good Communication
